About Us

Pharaohs Casino is a free standing, land based casino. Work on the 5600 square feet construction began on 23 February, 2000. The Grand Opening was on May 26th, 2000. PHARAOHS is the largest casino in Nicaragua.

At the opening there were 3 caribbean stud poker tables, 3 blackjack tables and 1 American roulette. Along with 61 slot machines including the only video poker bar in Central America.

By the 1st of October, 2000 the casino had grown to include an additional 26 slot machines and six more table games including the only dice game in the country.

On December 21st, 2000, an expansion of 1000 square feet was opened to facilitate 20 new video touch screen slot machines, a sportsbar with 4 bar top poker machines, 5 large screen televisions, a Sportsbook and a small restaurant. This expansion required the acquisition of the building behind the casino to accommodate the corporate offices, conference room and Sportsbook administration, customer service and call center.

Pharaohs Casino is licensed by the Nicaragua Institute of Tourism and the National Police of Nicaragua. All owners and key casino employees must clear both Nicaraguan and Interpol background checks.

The casino is regularly audited by HOOKER & HOOKER Contadores Públicos Autorizados y Consultores [Certified Public Accountants] Managua, Nicaragua. The Managing Partner of the firm is the Director of the Nicaraguan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
